Stock grating

Walkway gratings in stock formats are easy to handle, resulting in quick and easy installation. No cutting or welding of edge bar is required.

Stocked walkway gratings can be delivered on the same day, if you order the gratings before 10 am.

Walkway grating H6, Mesh width 34 x 75 mm

Pressure welded grating H6 is our most common grating for pedestrian traffic, which is sold from our stock. It has the same bearing capacity as H3, but with a slightly longer distance between the cross bars. For this reason, it is slightly lighter. Walkway grating H6 is available in three bearing bar heights, and each height is available in many stock formats that can be delivered immediately.

Walkway grating H3, Mesh width 34 x 37 mm

Pressure welded walkway grating H3 is one of our most common gratings for pedestrian traffic, which is sold from our stock. Walkway grating H3 is available in two bearing bar heights, and each height is available in many formats for immediate delivery. Walkway gratings can be used in most environments.

Walkway grating N6, Mesh width 17 x 75 mm

Pressure welded grating N6 is a walkway grating that satisfies Swedish Standard SS-EN ISO 14122-2 (the Machinery Directive). One requirement satisfied is the one that a ball with a diameter of 20 mm must not be able to fall through the grating. Walkway grating N6 is available in two bearing bar heights, and for each height there are many stock formats that can be delivered immediately.

Walkway Grating, Full-Size

Weland manufactures various types of full-size pressure welded grating. The full-sizes that are available are 3 x 1, 6 x 1 or 8 x 1 metres, with varying mesh widths and load bearing bar heights. Some of these are also held in stock, which means rapid deliveries directly from our stock. These gratings can also be supplied cut according to your wishes with a short delivery time.

Custom-made walkway grating

Apart from the stock range of gratings, Weland also offers custom-made gratings in many versions and types. Each grating type has its application, such as pedestrian traffic, various types of vehicular traffic, entrances and so on. The gratings can be ordered with different bearing bar heights, mesh widths and formats. Custom-made grating is cut and adapted to meet the customer’s needs. We will be pleased to assist you with planning and design.

Special sizes of kerb angle frames and other steel supports are manufactured to order.

Walkway Grating, Aluminium Type A

Aluminium grating is a light and stable grating that is used in environments where special requirements are set. One of the advantages of aluminium is that it weighs about a third less than steel grating. Aluminium grating should be placed indoors in a dry environment. The aluminium grating’s load bearing and support bars are made from EN AW-5754 grade.Load bearing and support bars in flat bar are assembled in the same design as A-type grating.
As standard, the mesh width is c/c 22 x 22 mm and 33 x 11 mm, but other mesh widths can also be manufactured on request. Aluminium grating is always manufactured with edging bar.
Aluminium walkway gratings are always delivered with pickled finish.

Walkway Grating, Stainless Steel, Type A

Stainless steel A-type grating is mainly used when an exclusive entrance is wanted. Frequently, exclusive materials have been used elsewhere and the wish is also to have that little extra when it comes to entrance gratings.
Weland stainless steel A-type grating is manufactured in the same way as other A-type grating, but from material grade EN 1.4420. The gratings are delivered with edge bars and in a pickled finish. The stainless steel A-type grating is a non-stock item.
