COLLISION PROTECTION
Weland steel collision protection can be used to provide protection by machinery and buildings, indoors as well as outdoors. Thanks to stock components, we can offer short delivery times.
Our steel collision protection has been developed primarily to protect buildings, pallet racks and machinery etc. It is a simple and effective way to prevent damage to structures, machinery and pallet racks in the event of collision, e.g. a fork lift truck.
Collision protection
The collision protection is manufactured with a base made from Sigma beams. The installation is easy because the entire protection consists of separate standard components that can be easily screwed together during assembly. This means that no welding is needed. The base is extremely strong and light, as it only weighs 12.7 kg/metre. The profile has a material thickness of 3 mm and is 400 mm high. The collision protection is anchored to the surface or the ground and is easily built up with the components’ support, end and corner.
We stock Sigma base in fixed length according to the list below. The stock beam is 400 mm high and has a material thickness of 3 mm. We can also cut the beam to another length based on your wishes.

Accessories
Corner joint 90° is used when you want to create a 90° corner for the collision protection. The corner bracket is stocked with a painted finish, standard colour blue, RAL 5002.

Railings are used as a complement to further increase safety and at the same time more clearly mark the location of the collision protection. Easily assembled at the assembly site. Our railing is delivered hot-dip galvanized as standard.

Surface treatment
Weland collision protection is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, because the Sigma base is hot dip galvanized and the remaining components are painted. For more information, please visit our page for surface treatment.
